We had earlier reported that Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions was backing Yogi Babu's next with debut director Shan. Titled Bommai Nayagi, the film also stars child artiste Srimathi, and the first look featured the two actors walking on the seashore. 

Now, the makers released a new poster, and confirmed that the release date of the film will be announced on Wednesday. 

Billed to be an emotional story of a father and daughter set in the backdrop of Cuddalore, Bommai Nayagi will be edited by RK Selva. With composer Sundaramoorthy and cinematographer Athisayaraj onboard, Bommai Nayagi also stars Subhadra, Hari Krishnan, GM Kumar and SS Stanley, among others.
