While Yogi Babu definitely has a huge lineup of releases as a comedian, what really makes his upcoming slate all the more interesting is the films he is headlining. One of the most-anticipated such projects is Bommai Nayagi, which is backed by Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions.

Now, the makers have announced the release date, and Bommai Nayagi is all set to hit the screens on February 3. 

Directed by debutant filmmaker Shan, Bommai Nayagi is an emotional tale of a father and daughter. Set in the coastal region of Cuddalore, the film also stars child artiste Srimathi.

Bommai Nayagi will be edited by RK Selva. With composer Sundaramoorthy and cinematographer Athisayaraj onboard, Bommai Nayagi also stars Subhadra, Hari Krishnan, GM Kumar and SS Stanley, among others.
