The production for Vijay's upcoming film, Thalapathy 67, directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj, has reportedly commenced on Monday.

Following the success of Vikram and the establishment of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, the fans are super excited for the filmmaker's next with Vijay. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, the film will mark the second collaboration between Lokesh and Vijay after Master (2021). And the latest buzz suggests that the filming for Thalapathy 67 kick-started on Monday in Chennai. However, the makers have not made an official announcement regarding the same. 

Recently, Gautham Menon confirmed that he is part of Thalapathy 67. On the other hand, there are also speculations that Trisha will be part of the film. But, the official announcement of Thalapathy 67  is expected to be out after the release of Varisu for Pongal. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu also stars Rashmika Mandanna.
