With just days left for the release of the Ajith Kumar-starrer Thunivu, the makers have announced that the censor formalities of the H Vinoth directorial are complete.

The film, which will hit screens worldwide for the festive occasion of Pongal, has been certified U/A.

Earlier today, a CBFC report about the words and scenes censored in the film surfaced online, and it has also brought to notice that Thunivu's runtime will be 145.48 minutes

Billed to be a multi-genre film, the trailer of Thunivu, revealed that the plot is about a bank heist. Produced by Boney Kapoor, the film marks the third collaboration between them, Vinoth, and Ajith after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai.

Thunivu also stars Manju Warrier, Veera, Samuthirakani, Ajay, John Kokken, Amir, Pavni, Cibi Chandran, GM Sundar, Prem, and Bhagavathy Perumal among others. It has music by Ghibran.
