We had earlier reported that actor Aadhi Pinisetty and filmmaker Arivazhagan will be teaming up for Sabdham and the makers had recently announced that the film's first schedule has been wrapped up. On Friday, the team announced that actor Lakshmi Menon has joined the cast of the upcoming film.

Sabdham marks the second time Aadhi and Arivazhagan will be teaming up. Just like their previous collaboration Eeram, the upcoming film will also be a horror thriller.

The film will be backed by 7G Films along with Aalpha Frames, a home banner of Arivazhagan, which was launched recently. The upcoming film will mark his debut production venture. The film is expected to release in Tamil and Telugu.

While the rest of the cast members of the upcoming film is yet to be revealed, the technical crew consists of S Thaman scoring the music. While Arun Bathmanaban is the cinematographer, VJ Sabu is the editor.
