Actor Mahima Nambiar, who is working with Raghava Lawrence in Chandramukhi 2, has taken to Twitter to share her experience working with the actor. Sharing a selfie with Raghava Lawrence, an elated Mahima wrote that she had a wonderful experience working with him and that she can't wait for the film's release. 

Chandramukhi 2 is the sequel to actor Rajinikanth's 2005 hit film directed by P Vasu. P Vasu will be directing the sequel as well, and Vadivelu will be reprising his role in the film. With Raghava Lawrence as the lead, Chandramukhi 2 also stars Kangana Ranaut, Radhikaa Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, and Srushti Dange in important roles. 

Notably, Chandramukhi, released in 2005, ran for a record-shattering 890 days in theatres.  The original Chandramukhi is itself a remake of the Malayalam classic Manichitrathazhu. 

MM Keeravani is on board to compose the music for the sequel, replacing music director Vidyasagar from the original. While RD Rajasekar is handling cinematography, Thotta Tharani is the art director for the film. The film is backed by Lyca Productions.

Meanwhile, Mahima Nambiar is also working on Ratham, and Ayngaran in Tamil and an untitled M Padmakumar-Asif Ali film in Malayalam. She was last seen in Oh My Dog alongside Arun Vijay.
