Actor Kavin has been basking in the glory of his recent film Dada, which is having a successful run at the box office. While the actor is receiving praise for his performance, the latest to congratulate Kavin is Dhanush. Kavin took to social media to share that the latter called him to pass on his wishes.

The actor who expressed how the call took him by surprise, said in a note, "Indeed a surreal moment receiving a call from Dhanush sir after watching Dada. I remember watching all your movies on screen, being amazed and awestruck by your outstanding talent. And today, receiving call from you can't be summed up by a simple thank you. Huge respect to you, sir for appreciating budding actors.”

Kavin also conveyed his wishes for Dhanush's recent film Vaathi.

Dada is helmed by Ganesh K Babu and also stars Aparna Das. It revolves around a couple whose lives turn upside down after an unplanned pregnancy and the man’s journey from a student to single father.

Meanwhile, Dhanush’s Vaathi is also running in theatres. The actor plays the role of a junior teacher in a mission to save the corrupted education system.
