Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi unveiled a single titled Yaar Intha Peigal recently. The song highlights the sexual violence undergone by children and encourages the parents and teachers to reach out for professional support from the government, without shutting the kids down. 

The song, composed by Ilaiyaraaja and sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja, has crossed one million views on YouTube. With lyrics by Pa Vijay, the video has been shot by Santosh Sivan and edited by Lawrence Kishore. 

Kiruthiga recently directed Paper Rocket, starring Kalidas Jayaram and Tanya Ravichandran. She is currently in the process of penning her next directorial.
