Megha Akash to play the female lead in Santhanam's Vadakkupatti Ramasamy

Actor Megha Akash has joined the cast of Santhanam's Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, directed by Dikkiloona fame Karthik Yogi. She will be playing a doctor in the film and recently began shooting for it in Pollachi. 

Vadakkupatti Ramasamy deals with a real-life incident that happened in a village in the 1960s-70s. The film has Jai Bhim-fame Tamizh playing the prime antagonist. Apart from him the film stars John Vijay, MS Bhaskar, Rajendran, Seshu, Ravi Mariya, and Nizhalgal Ravi.

With music by Sean Roldan,  Vadakkupatti Ramasamy will have cinematography and editing by Deepak and Shiva Nandeeswaran, respectively. 

Vadakkupatti Ramasamy is expected to release in mid-2023.
