We had earlier reported that actors Ashok Selvan and Shanthnu Bhagyaraj will be teaming up for a sports drama, which will be backed by Pa Ranjith. The actors, on Tuesday, announced that they have completed shooting for the film.

Besides Shanthnu and Ashok, the upcoming film also comprises a cast of Prithvi Pandiarajan, Keerthi Pandian and Divya Duraisamy, among others.

The yet-to-be titled film is expected to be based on the game of cricket and will be backed by Ranjith's Neelam Productions in association with Ganesa Moorthy's Lemon Leaf Creations. The film revolves around the emotional bonding with cricket shared by people across cities and towns of Tamil Nadu and also celebrates the essence of friendship.

Jaikumar, a former assistant director to Pa Ranjith, is making his directorial debut with this film. The film's screenplay and dialogues are penned by Tamizh Prabha and Jaikumar. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Tamizhalagan, editor Selva RK, production designer Raghu and music composer Govind Vasantha.
