The video of the first single from Manikandan's next film, Lover, titled Velagaadhe, is all set to drop on Wednesday, at 5 PM. The film, also starring Gouri Priya Reddy in the lead, is written and directed by debutant Prabhu Ram Vyas. 

Speaking with CE in an earlier interview, director Prabhu Ram Vyas said, "Lover will talk about what goes into making a relationship work. It will portray the dynamics in a relationship between a man and a woman."

Vyas has previously helmed the YouTube web series LIVIN, which starred Kanna Ravi and Amrutha Srinivasan in prominent roles. Lover too stars Kanna Ravi in a key role alongside the leads. 

The film's technical crew includes Shreyaas Krishna as the cinematographer, Sean Rolden as the music composer, Barath Vikraman as the editor and Rajkamal as the production designer. 

Million Dollar Studios and M R P Entertainment, who backed Manikandan's hit film Good Night, are also producing Lover.

The upcoming film will hit the theatres on Valentine's Day, 2024.
