Actor Vijay, who was last seen in Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is all set to be seen in Venkat Prabhu's yet-to-be-titled Thalapathy 68. While fans are eagerly awaiting updates regarding the film including its title, genre and plot, the Maanaadu director took to his social media handles that they will start rolling out details about the film soon.

Venkat Prabhu wrote on X, "Merry Christmas everyone!! Spread love!! Thalapathy 68 updates coming sooooon. Enjoy the festive season."

Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudheva, Mohan, and Jayaram will be joining Vijay in Thalapathy 68. Apart from these actors, the film will also star Venkat's regulars, Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash. 

The film has a lot of first collaborations including one between Vijay and Venkat Prabhu. This is the first time Vijay will be sharing screen space with Prashanth, Mohan, and Laila. This movie also marks the big-ticket step up for Meenakshi Chaudhary, who was last seen in Tamil in Vijay Antony's Kolai. Thalapathy 68 marks Sneha's second film with both Vijay and Venkat Prabhu. 

With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Thalapathy 68 is set to have cinematography by Siddharth Nuni, art direction by Rajeevan, and stunt direction by Dileep Subbarayan. Archana Kalpathi is backing the film under the AGS Entertainment banner.
