Earlier, we reported that actors Arav and Ramya Pandian are playing the lead in an upcoming film directed by Ganesh Vinayakan. On Thursday, she took to her Instagram to share an update about the film. 

In a video, Ramya is seen dubbing for her upcoming film, which is yet to be titled. Backed by 90 Pictures Productions, the film also stars Kaali Venkat and Baby Krithika in prominent roles. The shooting for the film began early this year. 

Touted to be an emotional drama, the film is said to be based on an incident that happened in real life. Arav is reportedly to play the role of the father of a 12-year-old, while Ramya Pandian will play his wife. Set in 1996, the film revolves around the conflict between people who live on land and hills. Major portions of the film are to revolve around Baby Kritika's character. 

Ganesh Vinayakan has previously directed Thaen and Thagararu.
