Actor Vijay Kumar- starrer Fight Club hit the theatres on December 15. Following the first-weekend run at the theatres, it has now been learned that the film has minted 5.72 crores worldwide. 

Directed by debutant Abbas A Rahmath, the film tells the story of two warring gangs who have been at loggerheads with each other over generations. The film opened to mixed receptions. An excerpt from the CE review of the film read, " Familiarity breeds contempt. Vijay Kumar's new film Fight Club suffers from this issue throughout its runtime. Despite the excessive hard work of cinematographer Leon Britto and editor Kripakaran Purushothaman to spice up the film, the writing never rises to the occasion to support these supreme technical crafts".

Apart from Vijay Kumar, Fight Club also stars Monisha Mohan Menon, Avinash Raghudevan of Jil Jung Juk fame, Karthikeyan Santhanam, Shankar Das and Saravanavel. 

The film is presented by Lokesh Kanagaraj's newly launched production house, G Squad.The film's technical crew comprises Leon Britto (cinematography), Kripakaran P (editor) and music(Govind Vasantha).
