Fight Club clears censorship formalities

Starring Uriyadi-fame Vijay Kumar in the lead, the film is helmed by his erstwhile assistant Abbas A Rahmath

Uriyadi-fame Vijay Kumar's next, titled Fight Club, is gearing up for release on Friday. Meanwhile, On Tuesday, the makers announced that the film has cleared censorship formalities with an A certificate. 

Directed by Vijay Kumar's erstwhile assistant Abbas A Rahmath, the film shows the story of two warring gangs who are at loggerheads with each other over generations. 

Apart from Vijay Kumar, Fight Club will feature debutant Monisha Mohan Menon, Avinash Raghudevan of Jil Jung Juk fame, Karthikeyan Santhanam, Shankar Das and Saravanavel. The film is presented by Lokesh Kanagaraj's newly launched production house, G Squad.

Leon Britto is handling the cinematography, while Kripakaran P is the editor for this film. Fight Club features music by Govind Vasantha, who had earlier worked with Vijay in Uriyadi 2. Vijay is also doubling up as the creative producer of the film, which is written by Abbas.
