Close on the heels of her recent OTT outings, Dhootha and Kadak Singh, speculations were rife that actor Parvathy Thiruvothu might play a female superhero in an upcoming film produced by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios. However, it has now been confirmed that the rumours are false since the actor has denied being involved in any such projects. 

Taking to her Instagram, the actor penned, " No Superhero movies are on yet. Wrongly spread the news for whatever reason." (sic)

Meanwhile, on the working front, Parvathy will next be seen in the upcoming Tamil film Thangalaan, helmed by Pa Ranjith. The film also stars Vikram and Malavika Mohanan in other significant roles
