The makers of Vetri's upcoming film Red Sandal Wood released the film's trailer on Friday. Helmed by Guru Ramaanujam, the film is backed by J Partha Sarathy of JN Cinemas. 

The trailer of Red Sandal Wood shows Vetri to be a boxer who indulges in the smuggling of red sandalwood in Tirupathi. While the Telugu Police are after him on the one side, he is also in conflict with KGF-fame Ram's character, who claims the forest with red sandalwood to be his territory. 

Red Sandal Wood also stars  Diya Mayuri, KGF Ram, MS Baskar, Ganesh Venkat Raman, Kabali Vishvanth, Vinod Sagar, Marimuthu, Ravi Venkat Raman, and Abhi. 

The technical crew of Red Sandal Wood consists of Sam CS composing the music and background score, Suresh Bala handling the cinematography and A. Richard Kevin handling the edit. Red Sandal Wood is all set to hit theatres on September 8.
