69th National Film Awards: Here's where you can stream the award-winning films

RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Pushpa: The Rise, Mimi and The Kashmir Files were some of the films that won multiple awards this year

The 69th National Film Awards for films that were submitted to the board in 2021, were announced on Thursday. RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Pushpa: The Rise, Mimi and The Kashmir Files were some of the films that won multiple awards this year. 

Some of you may have not watched all of the award-winning films in the theatres. So here's a list of the OTT platforms in which you can stream these films. 

Gangubai Kathiawadi- Netflix

Alia Bhatt, who played the role based on real-life personality Gangubai Kothewali, won the award for Best Actress for the film, which also won awards for Best Make-up Artist, Best Editing, and Best Adapted Screenplay Writing, along with dialogues. Sanjay Leela Bhansali helmed the film. 

 Mimi- Netflix

The Laxman Utekar directorial Mimi won two awards, namely Kriti Sanon for Best Actress and Pankaj Tripathi for Best Supporting Actor. 

Pushpa: The Rise- Prime Video 

Helmed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise won the biggest award for the Telugu Film Industry as Allu Arjun became the first Telugu Actor to win a National Award. He won the Best Actor award, while Devi Sri Prasad also bagged an award for the film for Best Music Direction (Songs). 

The Kashmir Files- ZEE5

The most controversial film of the year it released, Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files has bagged two awards for Best Film on National Integration, and Best Supporting Actress (Pallavi Joshi), respectively.

RRR- Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, ZEE5

SS Rajamouli's RRR, which made history at the Oscars this year, became the film to win the most awards at the National level, as well. While MM Keeravani won Best Background Music, Prem Rakshit and Kala Bhairava won Best Choreography and Best Male Playback Singer respectively. Further, the film also won Best Action Direction, Best Special Effects, and Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, making the total tally 6. 

Sardar Udham- Prime Video

Vicky Kaushal-starrer Sardar Udham was presented with 5 awards, including, Best Costume Designer, Best Production Design, Best Audiography: Re-recordist of the final mixed track, Best Cinematography and Best Hindi Film. Shoojit Sircar is the director of the film.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect- Prime Video

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Madhavan's directorial debut won the award for Best Feature film. The actor not only directed but also performed as the real-life scientist, Nambi Narayanan in the film. 

Godavari- Jio Cinema

Godavari's director, Nikhil Mahajan, won an award for Best Direction for the Marathi film. Jitendra Joshi and Gauri Nalawade headline the film. 

Kadaisi Vivasayi- Sony LIV

Helmed by M Manikanda, Kadaisi Vivasayi received The Best Tamil Film Award. Additionally, the late actor Nallandi received a special mention from the Jury. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. 

Chello Show- Netflix

Pan Nalin's Gujarati film which made a lot of noise during its release, Chello Show, bagged awards for Best Gujarati Film, and Best Child Artist, which was given for Bhavin Rabari's performance.

Home- Prime Video

The Malayalam film Home got the award for Best Malayalam Film, apart from Indrans receiving a special mention for his acting. The film is helmed by Rojin Thomas.  

Iravin Nizhal- Prime Video

Shreya Ghoshal bagged the Best Playback Singer Female award for crooning Maayava Chaayava from the Parthiban directorial and starrer, Iravin Nizhal

Meppadiyan- Prime Video

Vishnu Mohan won an award for Best Debut Film of a Director for his maiden directorial venture Meppadiyan starring Unni Mukundan in the lead. 

Uppena- Netflix

Another Vijay Sethupathi film, Uppena won the award for Best Telugu Film. Helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film also stars Krithi Shetty and Panja Vaisshnav Tej.

777 Charlie- Jio Cinema, Prime Video

Rakshit Shetty's 777 Charlie, a film for dog lovers, bagged the best Kannada film. Kiranraj is the director of the film. 

Nayattu- Netflix

The Martin Prakkat directorial, Nayattu, received the award for Best Original Screenplay, penned by Shahi Kabir. The film stars Joju George and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead. 

Avasyavyuham- Sony LIV

The Best Film on Environment award went to Krishand's Avasyavyuham

Shershaah- Prime Video

Vishnuvardhan bagged the coveted Special Jury Award for Shershaah, which starred Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The film revolved around the life of army man Vikram Batra.
