It's a wrap for Malaysia schedule of Vijay Antony's Romeo

It is known that Vijay Antony, who was recently seen in the murder mystery Kolai, is working on a romantic drama titled Romeo.

The actor-composer has now revealed that the Malaysia schedule of Romeo and its Telugu version Love Guru has been wrapped up. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Vijay Antony shared a group picture along with the cast and crew and said, "Malaysia schedule of #Romeo and #Love Guru successfully wrapped up. Thank you team."

Romeo is directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, who has earlier worked as assistant director of filmmaker Shree Karthick in Kanam. Vinayak has previously directed a YouTube Series titled 'Kadhal Distancing'.

While Mirnalini Ravi plays the female lead, VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Sudha and Sreeja Ravi feature in key roles. The film has cinematography by  Farook J Basha and music by Barath Dhanasekar. 

The film will be shot extensively in and around Malaysia, Bangkok, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Tenkasi, and Mahabalipuram.

Vijay Antony has several films like Ratham, Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan, Agni Siragugal and Valli Mayil in various stages of production. 

Romeo is expected to hit the screens summer of next year.
