Cheran's Tamil Kudimagan gets a release date

Tamil Kudimagan, the upcoming Tamil film starring director-cum-actor Cheran in the lead role, will hit the theatres on September 7. The makers of the film announced the news through their social media handles. 

Tamil Kudimagan is written, directed and produced by Esakki Karvannan. Earlier, the released trailer of the film depicted Cheran as a Village Administrative Officer who belongs to the lower-caste community and is responsible for performing death rituals. Despite being at a respectable job, he has still been called by the upper caste people to perform the death rituals. However, the problem arises when Cheran's character refrains from performing his cast-assigned job. 

The film also stars Sripriyanka, Lal, S A Chandrasekhar, Deepshikha, and Vela Ramamurthy in prominent roles.

Tamil Kudimagan's technical team comprises cinematographer Rajesh Yadav, Editor Karthick Ram, and music composer Sam C S. The film has yet to get a release date. 

Meanwhile, Cheran was last seen in Nandha Periyasamy's directorial  Anandham Vilayadum Veedu, along with Gautham Karthik.
