Digital rights of Yogi Babu's Lucky Man sold

The film is directed by RJ-turned-actor Balaji Venugopal

The makers of Yogi Babu's Lucky Man announced, on Sunday, that the post-theatrical digital rights of the film have been bagged by Prime Video. Additionally, the film's television streaming rights have been bought by Star Vijay. 

Lucky Man marks the maiden directorial venture of RJ-turned-actor Balaji Venugopal. The film has a script Balaji co-wrote with Karki. In an early conversation with CE, the director said, "Lucky Man would be like a soulful homemade meal. I have tried to package multiple socially relevant themes in the film while keeping the fun element intact. My story is about a small-time broker, and I have tried to present the events in his life with realism."

Veera of Rajarthinam fame and Rachel Rebecca of Kadaisi Vivasayi fame, play prominent roles in the film. Abdool Lee, RS Shivaji, Amit Bhargav and Sathvick round out the cast of Lucky Man

Bankrolled by Think Studios, the film's technical team comprises cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay, music composer Sean Roldan and editor G. Madan.
