On Friday, the makers of Sathish's Vithaikkaaran announced that the shooting for the film has been wrapped. From the film's teaser, which was released a while ago, Vithaikkaaran seems to revolve around smuggling and how Sathish is given the charge to retrieve certain withheld goods. 

The film is helmed by Venki, who will be marking his directorial debut. Along with Sathish, Vithaikkaaran also stars, Simran Gupta, Anandraj, Madhusudhan, Subramaniam Siva, John Vijay, Pavel Navageethan, and Japan Kumar, among others. The film is bankrolled by Vijay Pandi of White Carpet Films.

With music by VBR, Vithaikkaaran has cinematography by Yuva Karthick and editing by Arul E Siddharth.

A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
