We know that actor Yogi Babu is collaborating with RJ-turned-actor Balaji Venugopal for an upcoming Tamil film titled Lucky Man. On Wednesday, the makers announced that the film will hit the screens on September 1.

Lucky Man marks Balaji Venugopal's directorial debut. The film has a script Balaji co-wrote with Karki. In an early conversation with CE, the director said, "Lucky Man would be like a soulful homemade meal. I have tried to package multiple socially relevant themes in the film while keeping the fun element intact. My story is about a small-time broker, and I have tried to present the events in his life with realism."

Rajarathinam-fame, Veera and Kadaisi Vivasayi-fame Rachel Rebecca also play prominent roles in the film. Abdool Lee, RS Shivaji, Amit Bhargav and Sathvick round out the cast of Lucky Man.

The post-theatrical digital rights of the film have been bagged by Prime Video.
