As Maaveeran completes 25 days of successful run at the theatres, the lead actor of the film, Sivakarthikeyan, took to social media to thank his fans and audience for making the film victorious.

Amid his shooting at Kashmir, Sivakarthikeyan took to social media to post a video. He said, "Thank you everyone for making Maaveeran a success at the box office. I thank the fandoms of all stars across the languages."

The actor also revealed that he got a call from Rajinikanth to wish him. “He had called the entire team and it is very special for me. I am very grateful for him who watched Maaveeran amid his Jailer film works and audio launch. He has wished all of us in the team and you are very great. He had said how he enjoyed the film, its grandness and how I am doing different kinds of films.” Sivakarthikeyan, who is known to be an ardent follower of Rajinikanth also added how it is a “lifetime moment” for him to receive such appreciation and mentioned how excited he is for Jailer release.

While Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for Rajkumar Periasamy’s film, Rajinikanth’s Jailer is scheduled to release on Thursday. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, also stars Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, Shivrajkumar, among others.
