On the occasion of actor Fahadh Faasil's birthday on Monday, director Mari Selvaraj penned a detailed note wishing the actor. Mari and Fahadh collaborated on their first film together, with the recent release, Maamannan. The film starred Fahadh in the role of the antagonist. 

On his official X handle, Mari wrote in Tamil, "I love both your eyes so much. It was with that pair of eyes, I created the Rathanvel character. In one eye, I told you to hold on to the conditioning your character has gone through generation after generation. In your other eye, I told you to hold answers to the questions that the upcoming generations ask."

Mentioning that the actor perfectly pulled off the looks as instructed by the director, he further wrote, "I asked you to close your eyes in the end. And you closed it implicitly, without asking me why. I ensured that Dr Ambedkar's voice would echo inside your heart. And that very moment, having experienced horripulation, you came running to me with a warm embrace." 

Penning these thoughtful words, Mari wished the actor on his 41st birthday. Maamannan, which also starred Udayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu and Keerthy Suresh in the lead, received favourable reviews and success at the box office. The film is currently available to stream on Netflix. 

Meanwhile, Fahadh currently has four films in the pipeline, one of them being the most anticipated Pushpa sequel, Pushpa: The Rule. He also has, Hanuman Gear, Paattu and an untitled Jithu Madhavan directorial.
