The makers of Vetri's Red Sandal Wood, on Monday, announced that the film is all set to release in the month of August. 

The makers previously released the film's teaser which introduced Vetri as a boxer, who gets caught amidst a gang smuggling red sandalwood

Directed by Guru Ramaanujam, the film also stars  Diya Mayuri, KGF Ram, MS Baskar, Ganesh Venkat Raman, Kabali Vishvanth, Vinod Sagar, Marimuthu, Ravi Venkat Raman, and Abhi. Red Sandal Wood is backed by J Partha Sarathy of JN Cinemas. 

The technical crew of Red Sandal Wood consists of Sam CS composing the music and background score, Suresh Bala handling the cinematography and A. Richard Kevin handling the edit. The makers have not yet announced a release date for Red Sandal Wood. 

Meanwhile, Vetri was last seen in Bumper. He is also awaiting the release of Iravu.
