The makers of Santhanam's Kick, on Thursday, announced that the film is gearing up for release in the month of August. The makers, however, have not yet disclosed the date of release. 

Kick marks Santhanam's 15th film as a lead actor. Prashant Raj has written and directed the upcoming film. Tanya Hope is the female lead of this film, which also has Senthil, Mansoor Ali Khan, Thambi Ramaiah, Senthil, Brahmanandam, Sandhu Kokila, Manobala, YG Mahendran, Rajendran and Vaiyapuri, among several others. 

Arun Janya has composed the music for Kick, which also features cinematography by Sudhakarr S Raj and editing by Nagooran Ramachandran. The film has cleared censorship formalities with a U/A certificate.
