The first look poster of Samara, the upcoming Tamil film starring actors Rahman and Bharath in the lead roles, was released by the makers on social media on Thursday. The film is expected to be a sci-fi thriller. The poster shows the lead cast of the film inside what seems like a stylised lift in form of a capsule.

The upcoming film is written and directed by Charles Joseph and backed by MK Subhakaran, Anuj Varghese Villyadath. While a release date for the film is yet to be announced, the makers said Samara will have a theatrical release this year.

Technical crew of Samara consists of music scored by Deepak Warrier, RJ Pappan on the edit and Sinu Siddarth handling the edits. Apart from Bharath and Rahman, the film's cast also includes Mir Sarwar, Dinesh Lamba, Sanjana Dipu, Rahul Madhav, and others.
