Rajinikanth: Audiences see NTR in Balayya

Navein Darshan

Superstar Rajinikanth on Friday attended a special event to celebrate 100 years of Telugu actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). The veteran actor spoke fondly about NTR’s son Nandamuri Balakrishna (a) Balayya and stated that the 'Telugu audiences see NTR in him'.

"Telugu audiences won’t accept if Amitabh, Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan make the vehicles blast and go up to 30-feet-high, but if Balayya does that, the audience will celebrate it. The Telugu audience doesn’t see him as Balayya, they see late NTR in Balayya."

Notably, Nandamuri Balakrishna played his father NTR in the two-part biopic NTR: Kathanayakudu and NTR: Mahanayakudu, which were directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The actor was last seen in  Simha Reddy. He is next teaming up with Anil Ravipudi for the movie NBK108.
