Mari Selvaraj: Dhruv Vikram-starrer to be a biopic of Kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan

The director will reportedly begin working on this film after completing the post-production of Maamannan

We earlier reported that Dhruv Vikram will be teaming up with filmmaker Mari Selvaraj for his next. The film is said to be a sports biopic. 

Recently, addressing the media, Mari said that the film is based on a Kabaddi player named Manathi Ganesan. "He is an Arjuna Awardee and a very close relative. I always wanted to feature his story," he said. The film is said to be backed by Pa Ranjith's Neelam Production. Meanwhile, Dhruv was last seen in Mahaan alongside Vikram. 

Meanwhile, Mari Selvaraj will reportedly begin working on this film after completing the post-production of Maamannan starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh. He also revealed that the release of Maamannan would be announced soon and he would start working on Dhanush's film after completing this feature starring Dhruv.
