On the occasion of actor Vasanth Ravi's birthday, the makers of his upcoming film, Weapon, released his character poster on Tuesday. The actor is all set to essay the role of Agni in the upcoming superhuman saga, directed by Guhan Senniappan. In the poster, the actor is seen wielding a gun. 

Guhan Senniappan has previously helmed Sawaari and Amazon Prime Video's first Tamil web series, Vella Raja. Weapon is billed to be an action thriller. Produced by MS Manzoor of Million Studio, Weapon has been filmed in Chennai and in surrounding hill stations. 

Weapon also stars Sathyaraj, Rajeev Menon, Rajeev Pillai, and Tanya Hope, among others. The cinematography for Weapon is handled by Prabhu Rhagav while the music for the film is composed by Ghibran. The makers of the film are yet to finalise a release date.
