On Wednesday, the makers of Pichaikkaran 2 released the second single from the film titled, Koyil Silaye. Composed by Vijay Antony, the song has been crooned by Nivas. The video song features child actors Madesh and Shivanya. The video song shows the children reduced to beggary, and how the older brother cares for his younger sister. 

Previously, the makers released the first single, Bikilli. Composed and written by Vijay Antony, Bikili was also sung by the music composer. In the video, Vijay Antony first introduced the term 'Bikili' and then explained why he came up with such a word.

A sequel to Pichaikkaran, the film marks Vijay Antony's directorial debut. Apart from direction and acting, Vijay has also backed the film through his production house Vijay Antony Film Corporation.

Pichaikkaran 2 also stars Kavya Thapar John Vijay, Harish Peraddi, YG Mahendra, Ajay Ghosh, Yogi Babu and others. While the release date of Pichaikkaran 2 has been pushed, the film will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
