The Oscar Award-winning filmmaker Kartiki Gonsalves, who directed The Elephant Whisperers, recently posted a picture of the entire cast of the documentary, including the elephants Bommi and Ammu posing with the trophy.

The photo featured Bomman and Bellie, the elephant caretakers Bomman and Bellie, along with their elephants--Ammu (Bommi) and Raghu-- and Kartiki holding the trophy. Sharing the picture, she wrote, "Our complete family together reunited right here right now in the very space where it all began six years later."

The Elephant Whisperers is set in Theppakadu Elephant Camp of the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in India’s Tamil Nadu and traces the lives of two elephant caretakers Bomman and Bellie, who belong to the tribe of the land. The heartening documentary shows the tender relationship between the caretakers and jumbos, Ammu and Raghu, who are taken under their wings. The film is produced by Guneet Monga.
