The trailer of actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj's next, Raavana Kottam, was released by the makers on Wednesday. On Saturday, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who worked with Shanthnu in Master, took to Twitter to share the trailer and congratulate the actor. 

He wrote on the social media platform, "Very nice trailer machi. Congrats team." (sic). He further shared the link to the Trailer and also mentioned the director and producer in his tweet. 

Billed as a rural drama, Raavana Kottam is written and directed by Vikram Sugumaran, who is best known for making the 2013 film Madha Yaanai Koottam. The music for Raavana Kottam has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran.

Apart from Shanthnu and Anandhi, the cast of the film also includes Prabhu, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, Deepa Shankar, and Aruldoss. Vetrivel Mahendran has taken care of the cinematography while the editing is done by Lawrence Kishore. Raavana Kottam is produced by Kannan Ravi.

Raavana Kottam is set to hit theatres on May 12.
