Disney+ Hotstar bags streaming rights of two Tamil films

Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the streaming rights of two upcoming films, Aishwarya Rajesh-starrer Soppana Sundari and Manikandan’s Good Night.

The streaming platform made the announcement on social media recently.

Soppana Sundari, directed by SG Charles, is scheduled to hit the theatres on April 14. The film, expected to be a black comedy, will also feature Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Deepa Shankar, Karunakaran, Sathish, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi, Sunil Reddy and others. Produced by Hamsini Entertainment & Huebox Studios in association with Ahimsa Entertainment, it has music composed by Ajmal Tahseen.

On the other hand, Good Night is an upcoming film will also be helmed by debutant, Vinayak Chandrasekaran. Billed to be a romantic comedy, Good Night also stars Meetha Ragunath, Ramesh Thilak, director Balaji Shakthivel, Bagavathi Perumal, among others.

A release date for Good Night is yet to be announced.
