First single from Music School out

Papa Rao Biyyala, a former IAS officer, will be making his debut as a director with Music School

On Thursday, the makers of Music School released the first single from the film. Titled Mummy Sollum Vaarththa in Tamil, the song is titled Padhte Jao Baccha in Hindi and Chadhuve Chadhuvantaaru in Telugu. Composed by Ilaiyarajaa, the song has been sung by Priya Mali, Sarath Santosh, Hrithik Jayakish, Neha Girish, Padmaja Sreenivasan, and R S Rakthaksh.


Music School has an ensemble cast of Shriya, Sharman Joshi, Prakash Raj, Suhasini Mulay, Benjamin Gilani, Mona Ambegaonkar and Brahmanandam.  The film is trilingual and will be releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi respectively. Singer Shaan will be making his acting debut with Music School. The film is billed as a musical film with a student backdrop. The film's Original Soundtrack has 11 songs. In addition to this, the film will also be sampling a few songs from the Oscar-winning beloved musical, The Sound of Music (1965).

Veteran cinematographer Kiran Deohans is the cinematographer of Music School, with Manan Sagar serving as the film's editor. The film is all set to release on May 12.
