On Monday, on the occasion of Prabhu Dheva's birthday, the makers of his next film, titled Musasi, released the first look and title poster. The makers also announced that the film will set to release in the Summer of 2023. 

While the film's plot is still kept under wraps, reports suggest that Prabhu Dheva will be playing an IPS officer in Musasi. The film marks the debut directorial of Sam Rodrigues. Others reportedly a part of the cast include Master Mahendran, John Vijay, and VTV Ganesh. 

While Leander Lee Marty is composing music for Musasi, Vignesh Vasu will handle cinematography and Anthony will edit the film. The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the cast members and other details. Musasi is backed by John Britto under the Joy Film Box Entertainment banner,

Meanwhile, Prabhu Dheva, who was last seen in Bagheera is currently working on Wolf and Flashback.
