Vijay Antony's Tamilarasan gets new release date

The film is directed by Babu Yogeswaran

Earlier, we reported that Vijay Antony's film with Babu Yogeswaran, Tamilarasan, was to release on March 31. While the makers postponed the film's release for unsaid reasons, the film is not all set to hit theatres on April 14.

Yogeswaran previously directed the 2005 Jayam Ravi film Daas. Vijay Antony plays a police officer in the film. Remya Nambessan plays his wife in the film. The film also has Suresh Gopi playing the role of a doctor. 

Billed as a thriller, the film also stars Radha Ravi, Sonu, Sangeetha, Munishkanth, Robo Shankar, and Yogi Babu. Tamilarasan's technical crew includes music composer Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography by RD Rajasekhar. The film is produced by S Kowsalya Rani. 

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony's debut directorial Pichaikkaran 2 is also set to release on April 14. He is currently filming for many other films including Kolai, Ratham, Valli Mayil and Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan
