Veteran Filmmaker Bharathiraja has been discharged from the hospital following health improvement. On August 23, the director was rushed to the hospital following a serious medical condition. He was discharged after treatment and he was once again admitted after a high fever. The director interacted on phone with Kamal Haasan shortly after his discharge from the hospital, following which the actor registered his relief in a Tweet.

In the Tweet thread, actor Kamal Haasan wrote, “The director shared with me the happy news of his improvement in health after he was discharged from the hospital. I went and met him at the hospital and told him that I did not like seeing him in the hospital and asked him to come back home as soon as he could. He replied, ‘Ok see you later for sure, Bye,’ and I'm glad that he kept his word.

The actor-filmmaker duo has a long history of successful collaborations, which started with 16 Vayathinile, which also starred Sri Devi and Rajinikanth. Bharathiraja was recently seen in Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam while Kamal Haasan is currently busy shooting for Indian 2.
