Karthi-PS Mithran's upcoming film, Sardar, is all set to hit the screens this Deepavali. The film, which also stars Raashii Khanna and Rahisha Vijayan, will have music by GV Prakash. 

The actor-composer took to social media to announce that the first single from Sardar will be out very soon. 

He wrote, "Super excited about the first single of Sardar coming real soon."

Featuring Karthi in the double role of a father and son, Sardar stars Laila, Yugi Sethu, Murali Sharma and Munishkanth in pivotal roles.

Backed by Prince Pictures, Sardar has George C Williams in charge of cinematography and Anthony Ruben as the editor.

Meanwhile, Karthi, who is basking in the success of Viruman, also has PS-1 (Ponniyin Selvan Part-1) geared up for a September 30 release.
