Choreographer turned actor Raghava Lawrence has posted pictures of his physical transformation online. The pictures were posted along with a note that talked about his upcoming film and his charitable trust. Raghava Lawrence is currently filming scenes for the sequel to Rajinikanth’s 2005 blockbuster film. P Vasu returns to direct the sequel while comedian Vadivelu is confirmed to reprise his role.

In the note, after announcing that his new look was for Chandramukhi 2, he also revealed that since he was now doing well in life he would like for his fans to stop donating to his charitable trust and that he is planning to help people with his own money going forward. He ended the note by saying he would soon be organising a thanksgiving event for his fans.

While the makers of Chandramukhi 2 are tight-lipped about the plot details and release date, the cast and crew had just wrapped up filming in Mysore. MM Keeravani, well known for composing the Bahubali duology, will be replacing Vidyasagar as the composer for the sequel. Although the exact date is yet to be announced, the film is expected to release sometime in April 2023.
