The filming of an intense action sequence for Vetrimaran's directorial Viduthalai is underway in Kodaikanal. 

Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the lead roles, the film is produced by Eldred Kumar under the RS Infotainment banner and presented by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant movies. 

The action sequence choreographed by Peter Hein is shot at Poombarai in Kodaikanal on a grand scale. According to the makers, the camera crew has arrived from Bulgaria to shoot the action sequence.

The film will be released in two parts--Viduthalai Part 1 & Viduthalai Part 2. Also starring Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Chethan and Bhavani Sre, the film's music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja with cinematography by Velraj.
