Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies is set to release the upcoming film Viduthalai, the makers announced on social media on Thursday. 

The makers also released new posters of the film, featuring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi. While Soori is seen as a young police official wielding a rifle, Vijay Sethupathi points a gun at someone, with a fierce look. 

Viduthalai is directed by Vetri Maaran, and also stars Bhavani Sree, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, and Chetan, among others. The film has cinematography by Vetri's frequent collaborator Velraj and music by Ilayaraaja. The film is produced by Elred Kumar through RS Infotainment Pvt Ltd.

The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
