Lyca Productions to back Rajinikanth's next?

While the latest reports suggest that Rajinikanth's next will be backed by Lyca Productions, a photo of the production team with the Superstar is going rounds on social media.

According to the recent buzz, the production banner will reportedly back two films starring Rajini. The reports also note that Tamilkumaran, the Head of Lyca Productions, Subaskaran, the Chairman of Lyca Productions, and Premsivasamy, the Deputy Chairman of the banner, met with the actor to discuss the projects. It may be noted that the production unit is known for producing Superstar's 2.0 and Darbar

On the other hand, the puja ceremony for both projects is said to be held on November 5 in Chennai. More details about the upcoming projects, including the directors' names, will be announced soon. Recently, Lyca Production backed the big-ticket film Ponniyin Selvan, which is faring well at the box office. On the other hand, they are also producing Kamal Haasan-Shankar's Indian 2 and the second part of Ponniyin Selvan.

Rajinikanth, who was last seen in Annaatthe, directed by Siva, is currently working on Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander, marks Rajini's 169th outing. Meanwhile, the latest speculations note that multiple filmmakers have lined up to direct the actor, including Cibi Chakaravarthi (Don), his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth (Kochadaiiyaan, VIP 2)and Desingh Periyasamy (Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal).
