We earlier reported that actor Arun Vijay is teaming up with director Vijay for his next titled Achcham Enbathu Illayea. While the film is currently in the production stage, the team has wrapped up the first leg of shooting in London and recently begun a new schedule in Chennai.

An extravagant set, including a replica of a London prison, has been constructed at a budget of Rs 3.5 crore in Chennai, the makers noted in a statement. Art director Saravanan, with the help of massion Ramalinga, has created the London prison replica. The set is used for filming high-octane action sequences of Arun Vijay with many junior artists.

Meanwhile, the film marks the return of Amy Jackson to the Tamil industry after her 2018 film 2.0. Achcham Enbathu Illayea also stars Nimisha Sajayan, who marks her Tamil debut. The film's technical crew includes music composer GV Prakash, cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay, editor Anthony and stunt choreographer Silva. The film's script has been penned by A Mahadev.

The upcoming film will mark the first time Arun Vijay is collaborating with the filmmaker. It is to be noted that Vijay introduced the English actor to the Indian film industry through his period drama Madrasapattinam (2010).
