CE Features

Actor and bike racer Ajith Kumar is currently working on H Vinoth's Thunivu. While the film is expected to arrive in January, in time for Pongal, the actor is set to collaborate with Vignesh Shivan for his next, tentatively titled AK62.

It is now reported that actor Trisha is set to play the female lead in AK62. However, an official confirmation is awaited from the makers. AK62 is bankrolled by Lyca Productions banner and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The project will also mark the first time Vignesh Shivan is directing Ajith.

As per reports, Ajith will shoot for AK62 from December end or early January, before kick starting his next bike tour. If AK62 were to feature Ajith and Trisha, it will be the duo's fifth outing. The actors have earlier worked in films like Ji, Kreedam, Mankatha, and Yennai Arindhaal.

Meanwhile, Trisha featured in Mani Ratnam’s epic historical drama Ponniyin Selvan. The actor portrayed the role of princess Kundavai of the Chola dynasty. Trisha also has The Road and Malayalam action thriller Ram alongside Mohanlal in the pipeline. Trisha will also be seen in the second installment of Ponniyin Selvan and has Sathuranga Vettai 2 to be released.
