The Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Prince is all set to hit the theatres on October 21. Ahead of the release, the makers organised an event in Hyderabad to release the trailer. The Telugu trailer was released by Vijay Devarakonda.

Speaking at the event, Sivakarthikeyan expressed his interest to work with Vijay Devarakonda. "Let's do a film together. I want to work with you to understand how you work on a film. I think it will happen soon. Harishankar (director of Gabbar Singh, Duvvada Jagannadham) is here. He can also make it happen," he added. Sivakarthikeyan noted that he thoroughly enjoyed Vijay Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam. He also wished the actor for his upcoming film, Kushi, which also stars Samantha.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan's Prince has a strong Telugu connection as the film is directed by Anudeep KV, who made his directorial debut with the Telugu film, Jathi Ratnalu. The film turned out to be commercially successful. Prince is backed by Telugu-based production companies, Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies.

The comedy entertainer follows the love story between the protagonist, played by Sivakarthikeyan and a British lady, played by Maria Ryaboshapka. The film has music by Thaman, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Praveen KL.
