'Thamizhan' director Abdul Majith's next to feature Vimal and Yogi Babu 

The film is expected to revolve around unethical brokers

Actors Vimal and Yogi Babu will star in a film directed by filmmaker Abdul Majith, who is best known for helming the Vijay-starrer Thamizhan (2002), co-starring Priyanka Chopra.

Abdul will also be producing the film that will be made on a big budget. The film is expected to revolve around unethical brokers. Besides Vimal and Yogi Babu, the untitled film will also star Champika, Aishwarya Dutta, M S Baskar, Mottai Rajendran, Ravi Maria, John Vijay, Gnanasambandam, PowerStar Srinivasan, Chaams and Namo Narayanan.

The film is expected to throw light on brokers who are part of various transactions. The film’s protagonist Vimal plays a person who saved people from self-centred brokers.

While most of the film will be shot in and around Chennai, Vellore and Ranipet, it is likely to release in theatres for Pongal 2023.
