Kavin's upcoming film, Dada, has been speculated to release on November 18. The film features Aparna Das, who made her Tamil debut with the Vijay-starrer Beast, as the female lead. 

Dada's promotional posters tease a tale of love between a baby and its father. Billed as a family entertainer, the film is directed by Ganesh K Babu. The film also features actors K Bhagyaraj and Aishwarya as parents of Kavin's character, marking their first collaboration after 30 years. They were last seen together in Rasukutty (1992), which was helmed by Bhagyaraj himself.

Produced by Olympia Movies, Dada has music by Jen Martin while Kathiresh Alagesan will be serving as the editor. Ezhil Arasu K is the cinematographer of the film.

It may be noted that Vadivelu's Naai Sekar Returns is expected to release on the same date.
