The makers of Sivakarthikeyan's next, Prince, have announced that the pre-release of the film will be organised in Hyderabad as the film is set for a wide release in both Tamil and Telugu this Friday. The makers have locked October 18 for the event, which is set to take place in JRC Convention Center in Hyderabad.

Sivakarthikeyan's previous two films, Doctor by Nelson and Don by Cibi Chakravarthy, enjoyed a successful run in Telugu. The Telugu connect for Prince is much stronger. The film is directed by Anudeep KV, whose debut Telugu film, Jathi Ratnalu was a major critical and commercial success and Prince is jointly bankrolled by Telugu-based production companies, Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies.

The comedy entertainer follows the love story between the protagonist, played by Sivakarthikeyan and a British lady, played by Marina Ryaboshapka. The film has music by Thaman, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Praveen KL.

The film is set to clash with Karthi's Sardar in Tamil.
